Absolutely! We strive to consistently offer a safe, warm, welcoming, encouraging environment at Friendship Baptist Church - Toccoa, where ANYONE and EVERYONE will feel the genuine spirit of God's love before, during and after service.
What if I don't have "church clothes?"
Jesus didn't wear what people today would consider "church clothes" either. At Friendship, you will see a variety of outfits on any given week from jeans and tennis shoes to three-piece suits and dresses. Please, just come!
Will we be in church all day?
Good heavens, NO! Our services start promptly at 10:30am and generally end before 12:00 noon. Occasionally a service may last until 12:15 on communion or baptism Sundays or for special events.
I want to join the church without walking up front during service. Is this ok?
Yes. During the invitation to discipleship and membership, you are welcome to walk up front OR you may speak directly with the pastor or any member of the church after service who will be happy to give your information to the pastor.
