Reverend Tramon Butts is a native of Gainesville, GA. He is a man of vision and humility whose life embraces a passion to serve, a willingness to lead, and a heart to love. He has a strong desire to capture souls for Christ, serve God and His people and follow God where He is taking his life and ministry. His favorite scripture is Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;”
Rev. Butts was licensed to preach in January 2008 and was ordained in August 2010. Prior to being called to the office of Pastor at Friendship Baptist Church in Toccoa, GA, Rev. Butts spent his ministry tenure an Associate Minister at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Flowery Branch, GA. In that capacity he faithfully served in various roles throughout the years including Youth Minister, Sunday School Superintendent, Teacher, Media Team Member, and Nursing Home ministries. He also serves in a leadership capacity within the Northwestern Baptist Association as Vice-President of Youth Ministry.
An effective communicator of God’s Word, Pastor Butts is known for his practical, yet illustrative teaching style which helps people apply the timeless truths of Scripture to their everyday lives.
He and his wife, Tamira, have been married since 2002. They are the proud parents of three children, LeAndre, Taylor, and Nicholas.
Pastor Butts is a graduate of The University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in Management.
